Join ImageGrafix Wednesday Webinars to learn about frame & finite element model creation and structural analysis in GT STRUDL CAD Modeler.
23rd Aug, 10.00AM GST
The new enhancement features in GT STRUDL CAD Modeler Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows the structural engineers and designers to take full advantage of CAD’s 3D graphical environment to create true models for structural analysis and design.
Webinar would highlight the rich collection of easy to learn and instinctive modeling tools to accurately specify structure information, including:
• Finite elements
• Load combinations
• Execution of Analysis
• Results viewing in CAD environment.
|In CADWorx Plant if design need the Custom or nonstandard Angle elbow, there is an option in Piping rule to Enable the Trimmed Elbow while routing.
Go to CADWorx Plant Setup > Piping Rules > Select pulldown menu in “
Apply Trimmed Elbow Rule”
By Default, the value would be “No”
Available options: No or Automatic
Places trimmed buttweld elbows in the drawing when using ROUTE.
No: Does not allow for trimmed buttweld elbows.
Automatic: Router allows for trimmed buttweld elbows.
In this Webinar you will learn:
- Working with Portfolios
- Portfolio views
- Portfolio scenarios
- What-if analysis
- Capacity planning

In CADWorx Plant Professional 2017 R1 is capable to produce the IFC (Industry Foundation class) file as BIM Output for Piping, equipment and Structure & you can create IFC mapping to support BIM Revit software or which BIM software is used in your project.
Benefits of this feature:
In Revit / BIM Software are not able to produce the Isometric, Spool drawings & Output for CAESAR II Pipe Stress analysis, so using the CADWorx Plant professional we can produce Specification based 3D model, Piping GA, Isometric, Spool drawings, Output for CAESAR II Pipe Stress analysis & 3D model of Piping, equipment and Structure can bring inside in Revit / BIM Software as an intelligent 3D Model with the help of IFC file interface.
Please find the below Procedure to export CADWorx models into BIM Output IFC format.
Open CADWorx Design Review 2017 R1 and open the main Assembly file or all the X-REF files
Go to Save As and select IFC file type to save the IFC file
If you want to Configure your IFC file depends on the BIM Software, please click the IFC Configs
CADWORX Model in Revit Software
In this Webinar you will learn:
1. Process of designing properly reinforced nozzles for your vessel
2. Add reinforcement for the nozzles based on the UG-37 standards, which use area replacement in its calculations to achieve a proper design
3. Use Appendix I-10, which bases its calculations on examining a combination of Pressure and Area
4. Take into consideration the Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (MAWP) for your nozzle reinforcement calculations
